The well-developed road takes you as far as Täsch (4.8 kms from Zermatt), where covered and open public car parks are available. There is free car parking in Visp for passengers continuing to Zermatt by rail. Shuttle trains (every 20 minutes) and taxi vans take you from Täsch to Zermatt.
