The 467 guestrooms are located in the original five story building opened in 1982 (room access via external corridors), and in a nine story tower extension built in the mid 1990s. Many rooms in the original building overlook the gardens, and have their own patios. Other rooms have city views. Natural daylight streams through a glass ceiling into the cool, white marbled lobby, with brass chandeliers hanging to just above head height.
